I am a husband, father to three grown daughters, software engineer, cyclist, hiker and backpacker, and sometimes writer.

I've also been a skier and climber (likely no longer) and a woodworker (hopefully again someday).

Except for a couple of years in Silicon Valley in the mid-90's, I've lived in Virginia my entire life.
