The sea taketh, the sea returneth

Like most people, I love unlikely-seeming coincidences. When we were at the beach last summer, among our sand toys was a green sand shovel with a name (not ours) written on the handle. At some point in the trip we lost it. Several days later, my wife and I were taking an evening walk along the shoreline. A wave washed in and deposited, literally at our feet, that same shovel.
