I read
Bet Your Life (see previous post), and I must say that the reviews I read were not entirely fair. To be sure, it's not as good as White Man's Grave (then again, few are), and to be sure, his character development could use a little work (I had trouble distinguishing the protagonist of this book from the one in Brain Storm). But still, it's a good read, and certainly up to the limited standards of the mass-market thriller.
