Writing code since 1979
I have been a professional software engineer for over 10 years. I have written many kinds of software, but my particular strengths are interactive graphics applications, compilers and interpreters, and algorithms.

A few updates to past items:

  • The Segway HT: There's an excellent article in this month's Wired by Gary Rivlin (like myself, a bit of a techno-curmudgeon) about why the Segway has... well, failed is probably too strong a word, but anyway, not succeeded.
  • ReplayRadio: Sal pointed out this article that describes several PC-based solutions that provide the kind of Tivo-like functionality I want for radio.
