She doesn't know what she's saying

Yesterday Helen said something half-nonsensical (this happens frequently). I asked, "What does that mean?" She replied, "I don't know, I just said it."

In related Helen news, she's been singing the song "Funkytown" for several days, and tells me that I have "a big face."

Mary the moocher

I made myself some pizza for lunch, and sat down to eat it just as Mary Kate was finishing her lunch. She looks over at my plate and says, "Is that pizza?" I say yes. She gets down out of her chair and walks closer, and says, "Is that pizza pie?" I say yes again. She comes even closer, about as close as she can get given that she's barely as tall as the tabletop, and says, "That's my favorite color pizza pie," and looks at me longingly. Just like my wife, she seems to like food that is on other people's plates the best.
