Toyota and marketing firm Cunning are having people roam Times Square with ads for the Scion
tattooed on their forehead. I was disappointed when I read that they're very temporary, and only in use for the few hours the people are hawking, rather like having a sandwich board tattooed on your forehead. Previously I had assumed that the tattoos would be henna or something similar, and that the people would carry the ad with them everywhere they went for a few weeks. Now that would raise brand awareness. Heck, people have sported real Harley-Davidson tattoos forever, though I haven't ever seen one on anyone's forehead. (As an aside, I totally love the bulldog-cute Scion xB, especially in that ridiculous orange color.) [via Darren Barefoot]
