I've been asking for a decade for a voice-controllable TV. Now apparently
there is one, but they flubbed it bad: You talk into a microphone on the remote! My whole desire is to get rid of the remote! (Why? Because I can't ever find it.) There's a real opportunity here; TV navigation is a limited enough domain that you ought to be able to do it really well with voice recognition. I look forward to the day when we no longer have to worry about numeric TV channels any more than we use numeric IP addresses today.
