I just finished re-reading
Four Past Midnight, and noticed a couple of interesting things that I had missed when I read it the first time, twelve years ago. Firstly, the similarity between the story "The Library Policeman" and Bradbury's Something Wicked This Way Comes. Secondly, I had an idea some months ago for a story. Now I see that although I had no conscious recollection of the story "The Sun Dog," it is similar enough to my idea that it was obviously the inspiration.
