Who would've thought that
CueCat would create such a fuss. First they sue people for decoding the thing's output, now apparently each one has a serial number, which has the privacy folks all freaked out. (Though the hacking community pretty quickly figured out how to disable the serial number.) In any event, CueCat is a much better idea than DigiMarc, which is nothing but a big pain in the ass. (What an ingrate I am - after they gave me a camera!) If I'd been a VC when they presented their business plan, I would've laughed them out of the room.
